Our Committment
We are committed in the fight against spam and have spent considerable resources on systems to prevent spam from being sent with our system. These systems include email content analysis (spam scores), list analysis (for generic email addresses such as info@, sales@, etc), bounce reporting and blacklist monitoring.
NewsletterMonkey is dependent on maintaining good relationships with ISPs in order to ensure high email deliverability to our customers. Spam, as something that can degrade these relationships, is our number one enemy.

Our Spam Prevention Practices
Double Opt-In: All subscribers who signup for newsletters through our system are sent a confirmation email. If they do not take action with this confirmation, they are not activated and the system will not send emails to that email address. This double opt-in process is an industry best practice and ensures against mistakes in entering email addresses as well as fraudulently entered email addresses.
Previously Confirmed Lists: Accounts which have confirmed their list email addresses outside the NewlsetterMonkey system are placed into a special group while we watch and analyze emails sent, bounce rates, read rates, and spam reports. Unnaceptable negative reports for accounts can lead to account deactivation per our terms and condiitions.
List and Email Analysis: All emails sent with our system are scanned for spam keywords and characteristics before being sent. All lists are anaylzed for characterstics common to spam producing lists - any appearing to be problematic are investigated.
Terms of Use: Our NewsletterMonkey.com terms and conditions, which must be agreed to by our users before they can use the system, expressly forbids the use of NewsletterMonkey to send unsolicited commecial email (spam). Any accounts found to be operating inconsistent with this agreement will be terminated.

How we protect our customers
Unsubscribe Links: All emails sent with our system automatically include an unsubscribe link. This cannot be removed by the user.
Physical Address: All emails sent with our system automatically include the postal address of the user's organization.
Dedups: The system automatically dedups to prevent the same newsletter from being sent multiple times to the same subscriber.
Correct Email Headers: All emails sent with our system automatically have correct headers and each account can only use a confirmed address as the sender.
Double Opt-in: Our system implements, by default, a double opt-in process to confirm all email addresses submitted during the signup process.
